The American Helmet Association is a specialty pigeon club devoted to the promotion, breeding, and exhibition of all varieties of helmet pigeons. Whether you've been breeding Helmets for years, or if you're just starting out, the AHA is the club to belong to!

Officer Changes: AHA President

I would like to let everyone know I am stepping down from the role of President of the AHA.

I have come to the conclusion that I am no longer in a position to provide the time required to perform the duties of President in a manner that I believe to be appropriate. At this time I am also dropping out of the AHA as I do not believe it acceptable to be a member of an organization without providing ongoing services back to same. With respect to this web site, I have finished posting all the updates I have (some in draft form) and I will be archiving all this data for a smooth transition to a new web master in the future. According, I will no longer be updating this site after 3/1/2011.

I regret the suddenness of my departure but my personal health and stress level must be paramount to my pigeon activities. As history judges the years of my involvement with the AHA I hope that people recall my past work;

• ·         Club document updates; reconciliation of past changes and digitizing of our key data

• ·         Web site development; and creation of an on line repository of club docs, FAQs, and tools

• ·         Show results compilation; for publication, club records, and the bulletins

• ·         Substantial submission of information for club bulletins

• ·         Action planning for major club events and officer transitions

In some measure, I hope the aforementioned services help compensate for my early departure from the role of President (and informal web master). I am truly sorry if I have let anyone down.
