The American Helmet Association is a specialty pigeon club devoted to the promotion, breeding, and exhibition of all varieties of helmet pigeons. Whether you've been breeding Helmets for years, or if you're just starting out, the AHA is the club to belong to!

President's Message

What a great National! I went to Salt Lake City with high hopes and I was not disappointed. We had a nice group of birds shown and a lot of members in attendance. The AHA was given a outstanding service award from the NPA and Mike Crawford was awarded NPA Master Breeder for medium face helmets.  I was also pleased to see several former club members. Everyone had a great time reminiscing, talking about helmets, and watching the judging of a fine group of pigeons. The National was truly a great end to a fantastic year for the AHA.

I am hopeful that 2010 will be an equally good year. I am hearing rumblings of former members who may get back into the breed. I am also hopeful that we will see our show numbers rise as well.

It's not too soon to start thinking about our shows for this coming year. The sooner we decided on the events, locations, and judges the sooner we can publish and advertise the events!

In an effort to keep our site up to date, please remember to send me (BobB) your show results, pictures, articles or other information about helmets. Many times web sites get stale due to lack of new material. Please help out by contributing!
